Yorkshire Wildlife Park 07/03/2014

Some shots from an afternoon at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

Zebu

A wild Kestrel that hangs around the South American Viva
usually catching big worms to eat.

Tschuna the female Amur Tiger
with blood on her whiskers from a recent feed.

Wood Pigeon after some food in the Lemur Woods.


Rigtail Lemurs enjoying a bit of sunshine.

November Photo Highlights.

First up shots taken in and from the garden hide (shed).
Ferrets are standing on an old tv stand with a brown fleece blanket underneath and behind them,held up with bulldog clips.

Next just a couple of shots of Limetree Avenue the road in to Clumber Park.


Next up some pics of Vlad and the new Tigress Tschuna at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

Last up,spent a morning at Donna Nook,Lincolnshire,Photographing Seals.
Felt like i was struggling a bit,first time shooting Seals,i think next time i will concentrate on close ups.

i use a 70-200mm and leave the bigger 100-400 at home.

August Photo Highlights.

Visited the Safari Night at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park
and got to see a Spoonbill at RSPB OLd Moor for the first time.
